Apply For Cybersecurity Scholarship
The GRF Foundation provides annual scholarship awards to support students in the cybersecurity field. The 2021-22 program is open to students in underrepresented or minority communities pursuing a cybersecurity degree or certification. Recipients are provided a financial award and an academic year mentorship with a representative from a scholarship sponsor organization.
Minimum Requirements – to be eligible for a scholarship, applicants must:
Self-identify as coming from a minority, low-income, or other community or background underrepresented in cybersecurity
Demonstrate high academic excellence and interest in pursuing cybersecurity as a career
Must be at least 18 years old and a citizen or permanent resident of the United States
Be enrolled in an accredited post-secondary training program such as a four-year university, community college or technical school
Sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to attendance at the GRF Summit on October 7, 2021
Have verifiable previous experience participating in cybersecurity-related academic course work, have cybersecurity job experience (basic or introductory experience is acceptable), or have demonstrated success in cybersecurity, hacking, or coding competitions
GRF and GRF Foundation employees, interns, and their family members are not eligible to apply for GRF Foundation scholarships.
