GRF Chairman Bill Nelson Talks OT Security on Claroty’s Aperture Podcast

GRF Chairman Bill Nelson, also a director and officer of the Operational Technology ISAC, recently joined Claroty’s Aperture podcast to talk about the importance of sharing cyber threat intelligence and incident information among operational technology owners and operators.

Bill outlined why hesitancy to share information puts companies at a competitive disadvantage and why most barriers to sharing stem from a false understanding of what is required and what can be gained.

The Operational Resilience Framework being developed by GRF with a multi-sector group of security leaders was also discussed, emphasizing the need for businesses to assure they can continue working in the face of a destructive event or attack.
