Global Resilience Federation Partners with F-Secure to Provide Managed Detection and Response to Members

Herndon, VA, USA – December 10, 2020- Global Resilience Federation (GRF) has joined with F-Secure to offer visibility into threat actor behavior to GRF’s worldwide network of organizations.

“We’re pleased to be working with F-Secure to advance our mutual goal of protecting critical infrastructure and businesses against malicious cyber threat actors,” said GRF Chairman and CEO William Nelson.

GRF serves as a hub for cross-sector cyber, physical and geopolitical intelligence sharing and analysis from information sharing and analysis centers (ISACs), organizations (ISAOs), computer emergency readiness/response teams (CERTs), private vendors and government. The GRF network spans many critical and vital sectors including healthcare, energy, retail, K-12 education, professional services and legal services.

“F-Secure has prioritized research as the foundational element of our business. For decades, we’ve shared the insights gained with our clients and the cyber security community as a whole in order to protect critical assets across the globe,” said Rebecca Rathbun, F-Secure’s Managing Director, Americas. “We’re thrilled to partner with Global Resilience Federation to pursue our closely aligned goals. By combining our substantial research with GRF’s platform, we can reduce risks and increase visibility into the cyber security landscape and active threats as they unfold.”

Through open source information, non-public research and threat sharing technology, GRF empowers members to share and provides them with guidance and intelligence to help identify attacks and mitigate their impact.

“From exposing zero-day exploits to exposing attackers’ tactics, techniques and procedures, F-Secure’s research helps organizations prevent and mitigate breaches. This is an excellent match for GRF’s mission to protect organizations by facilitating centralized, multi-sector exchange of actionable intelligence,” added Nelson. “We can help this research reach organizations in important industries that need to preserve public trust.”
